Iceland x nymph!reader chapter 2

You sighed, it was morning, not the best time of day, because it was always gloomy in the morning, well, atleast, for you it was.




You stared contently at the gloomy, boring sky, just knowing that it would be that way until the end of the world.


"I bet the others are having fun." you mumbled. Just then, a rock came out of nowhere and hit you on the head.


"What the-" you said as you picked up the object seeing as it was a rock, you let out a low growl wondering what could have thrown it. You then saw a puffin come towards you, which was very odd since animals hardly ever came around you,


"Mr.Puffin! Come back!" yelled a voice. You froze (see what i did there?) a man? here? by your waters? Impossible! nobody ever even dared to go near your waters, they were too busy enjoying the saunas in the Icelandic countryside, why would somebody visit your waters? Then the puffin spotted you and let out a loud squawk and flew away.




"Iceland! I saw something! in the water! it was a girl! she had a tail!" you heard another voice talk which you assumed was the puffin, you heard narwhals talk, so, why not?


"Mr.Puffin you have been hanging around Norway too much" You heard the voice from before say who you were guessing was Iceland.


"No! i'm not kidding! i swear!" you heard 'Mr.Puffin' say.



"Alright, alright, fine. I'll go see this 'girl' you're talking about, but it's probably just your imagination." you heard Iceland say.


'No no no no no!' you thought, in panic you froze the water and hid under the ice.



"What the hell?!" you heard Mr.Puffin say. "That wasn't there before! i swear!"


"Now your wasting my time" you heard Iceland say, you were glad, to say the least, i mean, there wasn't a rule saying you couldn't communicate with humans it's just that you didn't know how, not only that but what if they decided cut you up and sell you? then they would surely know there's more of your kind and go cut up the others, and you did NOT wan't put put your sisters in that much danger, but they could take the fire nymph, they just had to survive.


They were right above you now, Iceland and Mr.Puffin. Iceland groaned and walked away as you covered your mouth to keep you from letting air bubbles get noticed by the almost clear sheet of ice. That's when you let a breath escape your lips. Your eyes widened.

'No!' you thought. 'no no no!'. Mr.puffin looked down to see you, you felt a few tears fall.


"There she is!" he said as he used his wing to point. You swam away, as fast as you could, not wanting to be seen,


"There's nothing there Mr.Puffin" Iceland said. "B-But I swear she was right there!" Mr.Puffin stuttered out in disbelief. "Come on, lets go" Iceland said,


"But!-" Mr.Puffin was interrupted. "Lets go" Iceland said in a more stern voice, it was anything but a question, it was a demand. Mr.Puffin groaned but followed Iceland's rules and followed him. Finally after they were out of sight and after they left, you unfroze the water.



"That was close!" you whispered loudly to yourself.
